About Suzannah

Suzannah is a new face to Cas n Ova Productions, but certainly not to the stage! Originally from the UK, Suzannah has been performing since she was a tiny tot.  Her mum says she was singing and dancing before she could walk or talk, and wanting to entertain others has always been a natural passion for her.

Suzannah started out as a singer and dancer, and studied Singing with the Royal School of Music, and completed Dancing through Imperial College London in Ballet, Tap and Modern Contemporary dance.

It wasn’t until her late teens that she really discovered theatre, in particular musical theatre. Since then, there’s been no stopping her!

Over the years, Suzannah has performed in many productions, primarily musicals, both in NZ and back in the UK.  Her most recent performances have been with Centrestage Rolleston (Governor Ferguson in Bonnie and Clyde), Riccarton Players (Leverne in Fifty and Fabulous), Halswell Drama (Sylvia in All Shook Up), and several other shows including but not limited to, Chicago, Beauty and the Beast and Joseph and the Technicolour Dream Coat.

Suzannah decided to push herself out of her comfort zone of doing musicals and went to audition for “Motel”, for the experience, and to put herself out there.  Not thinking for one second, she would land a part!

This is Suzannah’s debut purely “acting” role, where she has to keep her feet still for the most part!  She has thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of getting to understand and play the character of Jenny, who is poles apart from herself in “real life”.  Without giving anything away, you may want to bring a tissue!

It’s been an absolute pleasure to have been given this opportunity, to be working with such a talented cast, and welcomed into the Casn n Ova whanau with open arms.😊
