Roderick Turner

About Roderick

Roderick is active in New Zealand Community Theatre. Latterly he has reprised some well-known roles from classic BBC television series, Mr Rumbold in Canterbury Repertory's productions of “Are You Being Served”, and Baldric in “Blackadder”, and a personal highlight, Sgt. Wilson in Dad’s Army (CAS’n’OVA). The role of Duncan in “The 12th Man” introduced him to CAS’n’OVA PRODUCTIONS, followed with a part in the world premier cast of “Stitched Up”, bringing the miscreant ‘Orace’ to life.

Another memorable role of Patrick in “Blind Eye” was a wonderful opportunity to play a new character in a brilliantly crafted play by April Phillips.

Dr Seward in Count Dracula began what is a busy 2017, followed closely with a cameo role in an updated production of “Yes Prime Minister”, as DG of the BBC.

Colin brings him back to CAS’n’OVA in this Roger Hall classic.
