I love the power of words. Letitia Elizabeth Landon wrote;

"Tis a strange mystery, the power of words!. Life is in them, and death".

The words of the Dad's Army script have the power to leave me in fits of mirth and return me to life in the 1970's when it was first shown in New Zealand.

I have recently returned to amateur dramatics after a break of over forty years. I had the pleasure of taking part in Repertory's production of Blackadder last year.

Music is the other powerful force in my life, through my hobby of a Capella singing, and when music is combined with the power of words, it is an outburst of the soul.
