About Mena

Philomena Elaine Moana Petaia, I am a nursing student, rugby player, guitarist, vocalist, comedian and a sister to 3 other hood rats.

I have only acted in front of a church congregation and in front of my mirror. My poor parents have had first hand experience of the damage i do when i am so called acting, let alone the havoc i create with my siblings when they cannot distinguish the real me and the actress.

I never thought i would be a part of a production, so it was very exciting for me to become involved. I thought i would just be an extra, insignificant and in the background. Turns out my debut performance is somewhat out in the open with a few lines to top it off.

I've finally unearthed my passion i kept in my non-existent hopes and dreams storage unit, a dream slowly becoming a reality. i guess you have to start somewhere to be come the next Angelina Jolie.
